EQ unveils Spirit of Christmas

EQ celebrates the festive season with amazing dining experiences, thoughtful gifts and cherished traditions. This well-established leading luxury city hotel has designed a calendar of events designed to capture the warmth and joy of this time of year, featuring lavish feasts and sumptuous banquets. 

The Christmas tree is in the lobby, carols return to the air and each restaurant takes the holiday season with gusto. Guests can expect the kind of festive setting true to EQ’s long-standing reputation for thoughtful hospitality.

The Spirit of Giving: The Angel Tree Initiative

A cornerstone of EQ’s celebrations, the Angel Tree Initiative invites guests to select a wish card from the lobby Christmas tree. Each card represents a child from Shelter Home, and guests can fulfil a wish by purchasing a gift or making a donation, which the hotel team will personally deliver at a dedicated Christmas party. 

Adding to the festive atmosphere this year is an exclusive Grand Seiko Christmas Showcase in the lobby — a display that brings together precision, craftsmanship and timeless beauty. The season’s familiar fav appearances also return – Santa Claus will make appearances on Dec 24 (7pm–8.30pm) and Dec 25 (12.30pm–4pm), joined by Christmas carollers performing much-loved songs across selected venues. 

Signature restaurants will be hosting a variety of events:

Étoile begin early with Thanksgiving BBQ Brunch on Nov 30, priced at RM168/adult. Christmas Eve features a BBQ Dinner (RM168), whilst Christmas Day offers Festive Meat and Seafood Platters (from RM138).

At Nipah, there will be festive buffet lunches daily (RM168/adult, RM84/child) and buffet dinners at the weekend (RM188/adult, RM94/child) throughout December. Special Christmas Eve buffet dinner (RM288/RM144) and Christmas Day buffet lunch (RM228/RM114) are also available. The menus showcase a generous spread of local and international favourites, ideal for family or office gatherings.

Indulge in the Festive Dolce Vita Afternoon Tea all December (RM99/pax) at the Bottega Lounge. An optional add-on of two glasses of Bottega Prosecco or cocktails is available for RM108 per set.

Stylish Sabayon will have The Chalet Festive Sunday Lunch, held every Sunday in December, honouring EQ’s culinary heritage with classic European dishes served with quiet sophistication. Priced at RM288/RM98, guests may also opt for a free-flow add-on at RM88 each that includes champagne, wine, juices, soft drinks and mocktails. 

Christmas Eve Highlights

Sky High Celebrations on Dec 24 at Blue and Sky51 combine festive sharing platters with live entertainment for a lively party in the sky. Guests can enjoy good food, music and the city lights below, with a minimum spend from RM150 to RM200 depending on the seating zone.

Christmas Eve five-course Omakase dinner at Kampachi is priced at RM588/each, with premium à la carte options available and an optional sake buffet add-on at RM150 per person. On Christmas Day, Kampachi serves a Brunch Buffet at RM288.

Sabayon offers an elegant Christmas Eve Five-Course Dinner, perfect for those who prefer a calm, sophisticated evening, priced at RM888 each for window seats, RM788 for the main dining hall and RM688 for private dining. A champagne trolley is available from RM888 per bottle for those who wish to toast the night in style.

On Christmas Day, there’s Sabayon’s Chalet Christmas Lunch at RM308 per adult and RM154 per child, with a RM208 per person beverage add-on. Later that evening, the Christmas Day Five-Course Dinner continues the celebration, RM688 per person for window seats and RM588 per person for regular seats.

EQ’s culinary team has prepared a selection of holiday roasts for you to enjoy such as Roasted turkey with chestnut stuffing (RM128/kg), slow-roasted Christmas goose (RM158/kg), bone-in Australian Wagyu beef (RM188/kg), beef Wellington (RM568/kg), Oven-Baked Lamb Leg (RM118 per kg), and Lobster Mayonnaise (RM438 for 700g), and more.

EQ will also be hosting a variety of countdown celebrations to welcome in 2026, including a New Year’s Eve countdown party at Blue and Sky51 featuring live DJs and breathtaking city views (minimum spend RM258 per person).

Nipah: New Year’s Eve BBQ Grill Buffet (RM288/adult), with complimentary access to the Retro Party for adults.
